Mission

Ten Point Debut Film Awards, Organized by the Tenpoint Media in association with Cinidiary Online Portal. It will showcase and recognize the talents of fresh faces in the Malayalam Film Industry. An award exclusively for debutants, the entries for the award can be submitted only once in a lifetime. The goal of the award is to motivate fresh talents in carrying their aspirations forward. It would definitely be a boost for Malayalam Cinema and also for people who dream of a carrier in Cinema.

Rules & Regulations

  1. Only the films entered in the time frame will be considered
  2. Only films produced or co-produced in India are eligible
  3. All films entering, need to submit a Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC)
    4. OR
  4. Films completed between 1st January 2021 to 31st December 2021 or televised on the OTT platform along with the affidavit will be considered
  5. Once a film is enrolled, the entry cannot be withdrawn
  6. Submission of entries implies acceptance of all the aforementioned regulations and selection conditions
  7. Preview materials should be sent by post/courier. Delivery in person will also be accepted

General Rules

  1. A director or production company may enter more than one film, provided a separate entry form. The entry form must clearly mark the section entered for
  2. Only selected films will be intimated by email. No letters of non-acceptance will be sent
  3. The Award committee will appoint juries consisting of eminent Film Makers from across the country, from different fields
  4. No person or firm will be appointed as jury or selection committee who will be participating in the award
  5. Completed entry-forms to be submitted on or before January 25th, 2022
  6. Full text of the film in Malayalam language to be submitted
  7. Abstract, promotion materials, press kit in Malayalam or English
  8. Advert video or film shots in mp4, dcp formats
  9. Materials for the catalogue in Malayalam or English (information about the filmmakers, photos, including the photo of the director, film slides)

Submission Formats

  1. Entries must be submitted in DVD /Blu – Ray/ Hard Disk/Pen Drives format
  2. The preview parcel must state clearly: “NO COMMERICAL VALUE – FOR TENPOINT DEBUT FILM AWARDS ONLY”. The Award Committee will not cover any expense regarding this matter. Please pack adequately
  3. Preview material must be labelled with Title, Running Time and Contact Information.
